Thanks for stopping by! The first thing you should know about me is, I LOVE weddings! There is something so precious about two people committing their lives to each other. I love capturing little tender moments that happen; a gentle touch, a warm smile, or a passionate embrace. These are what I call "life's magic".

Taking pictures of children and families is another passion! I sincerely believe that kids are some of the funniest people on this earth!

I prefer to shoot outdoors or on location whenever possible using natural light. This includes coming to your home. I have portable studio equipment that I can set up wherever you choose! Studio sessions are available upon request. I am located in Grand Rapids, MI but am willing to travel throughout MI and beyond!

My style of photography is a blend of photojournalism and planned creative posing. Roam around my site and get a feel for my work. My goal is to make people comfortable and for magic moments to naturally unfold.

Logan :: Newborn Session {Grand Rapids Newborn Photographer}

Little Logan was only three weeks only when we met at the studio for his newborn session. He was sound asleep when he arrived but once his mom woke him up to change him into his first outfit, he never fell asleep again. Granted, he was pretty sleepy and had to fight awfully hard to stay awake, especially toward the end of the session, but he didn’t close his peepers again until he left. What a strong little guy!

This Morning at My House :: Personal {Grand Rapids Photographer}

Yes, that was me this morning, outside in my pajamas and winter coat, taking pictures of the sparkly frost on the leaves and grass on my front lawn. My husband is probably used to it by now, my sneaking off, camera in hand to go capture something glorious I spotted. He peeked outside and saw me hunched over, trying not to get wet from all of the dew, and knew I needed to do my thing, my “photography adventure” as I call it. So, here are a few of favorites. Enjoy!
